A little about me

I am a User Experience Designer currently located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After spending my college years touring and program directing live events, I settled down to start my corporate career. Always passionate about designing things and making them look great, I had no idea how to pursue that as a career. So I took whatever job I could find. After a couple years, I stumbled into being able to give it a go as a UX designer.

I almost immediately fell in love with the profession. I was already familiar with a lot of the tools, so picking it up was rather easy for me and I have never looked back! I am extremely passionate about visual design and finding UX was a God-send as it married my technical background as well as my creative side.

After watching this video from David Kelley, I began to realize how many people I interact with daily believe that they can't be creative. I started to develop presentations, talks and content that encourage others to tap into their creative side, even when they don't think it exists. If I can make things look good, I want others to believe they can too!

Beyond work, I love to try out new types of food, play video games, listen to pop punk music and hang out with my pets!
